DES MOINES, Iowa - With the start of June comes additional facilities opening across Iowa state parks as a part of the state's phased reopening.
Facilities that began reopening in this first week of June include playgrounds, camps and campgrounds, and lodges and shelters.
Groups at many facilities will still be limited to 50% capacity. To make a reservation for a lodge or shelter, residents can visit iowastateparks.reserveamerica.com, starting this Saturday.
